Homework: Read 30 minutes every night and get your agenda signed. This earns one Dojo point every day. I don't require weekend reading, but I will reward it. Math: The will be an envision math worksheet every night. This also earns one Dojo point every day -not doing this will also earn one negative Dojo point. Homework trouble? I highly recommend Khan Academy for relearning any math skill. Type in the title of the lesson and this site will almost always lead you to review and practice that will help:
My Homework Policy: If your homework (other than reading) is taking more than 30 minutes, stop. Homework is practice and shouldn't be frustrating. after 30 minutes put it away and we'll go over it in class the next day. Trying is great! This makes a total of one hour of homework per night, including reading. I have always been willing to let students finish up in the morning before 9:15 announcements.
Math Book online: If your homework is from the math workbook you can access it online. Go to my.ncedcloud.org and sign in. Next hit Clever. Then hit Pearson. Select your book, find the unit we are in, the lesson, then the page number. (I know that's a lot)_ Then you can write your answers on notebook paper -make sure your name and the assignment are at the top.
Pearson Bounce App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.layar.bouncepages&hl=en_US This app is supposed to lead to help on math homework. You can scan the homework page and Pearson will open a help page for you. I haven't used this myself, but others say it is quite good.
